Overview

I am currently working in the Walmart recruiting space, where my bandwidth of work defines External and Internal Walmart Application process experience. I design and develop use cases for the following

1. The external Job application process

2. The internal Job application process

3. Current employees dashboard (A new integration version of bringing all the employee information and resources to one platform)

4. Design visual assets and components within the recruiting space

The Process

I have been working on two different types of projects majorly,
1. Time-sensitive projects (MVP designs) - I use Lean UX method to provide results that match the deadline by performing
a. Quick research (mostly secondary)
b. Creating concepts and review with product and business stakeholders
c. Review the designs with the design system and content writing team
d. Review with the technical team (to ensure capabilities and limitations
e. Deliver the designs in its respective format

2. Conceptual projects - I use primary research and conceptual designs review as my keys heuristics to achieve a thick, rich description over a relatively small area
a. Thorough primary research using ethnographic tools and techniques (interview, shadowing, facilitating creative thinking re-creating user scenarios etc,)
b. Creating concepts and review with product and business stakeholders
c. Review the designs with the design system and content writing team
d. Test the designs online
e. Re-iterate based off the user response, behavior and feedback
f. Finalize the test and control design and work closely with the analytics teams to understand which iteration performs the best
