Greendot has come with a new product called Go2bank which went live in January 2021. It's the ultimate mobile bank account, packed with the features to make it easier to manage your money. As a member FDIC bank and a brand of Green Dot Corporation which has 20 years of providing innovative financial services to over 33 million consumers in the U.S.

Background

I joined Greendot Bank as a UX/UI a year ago as one of 4 UI/UX designers in a company of over 20 engineers and 15 product managers. I support design across every aspect of our business and am responsible for leading UX and UI across key parts of the application side of the platform. I've grown tremendously in the last year, some key achievements of which I have listed below:

• Worked on top compelling features -

  7. Security Settings
  8. Pay Friends and Family

• Establishing a design kit. This has helped to maintain consistency in the look and feel across different parts of the platform.

• Establishing a design system. This has helped the Engineering and Product teams to understand how and why we choose to implement certain components over others.
  
  

The Process

My process at Greendot Bank is based on the Double Diamond Theory and Lean UX process. I aim to incorporate the key phases of Discovery, Definition, Ideation, and Implementation in all of our projects.
